Nollywood

Nollywood has been on the come up for a while now.

They have upped the ante on movie production.

They have decided to spend more money, making crisp films that appeal to the discerning viewer. Gone are the days when movies were thrown together in a day and mass produced for mass consumption.

However, there is still a lack of content, scripts are often similar, with the one and the same storylines. They have gone from the juju themed movies to the marriage themed movies. 

They group the same actors together; you feel like you are watching a sequel to a movie already watched.

Nonetheless, Nollywood “Home Videos” are a guilty pleasure, whether it is the back in the day patch-patch or the new and refined films being put out today, I am still intrigued.
