Netflix - Tiger King
Just watched a short series on Netflix - Tiger King
; when I tell you, there are things happening in this country, wow!
Apparently, there are more tigers in captivity, here in the US, than there are in the wild.
The amazing thing, is that this series totally reflects how vast this world is, I mean, I pride myself on being in the know, however, I had never heard of any of the sordid characters, all real mind you, depicted in this mad tale of sex, drugs, lies and madness!
The series centered around a polygamous gay zoo owner, Joe Exotic, better known as the Tiger King, who was married to two straight (well, I guess bi-sexual now) young boys.
Both addicted to drugs, apparently shacking up with the Tiger King because he funded their drug habits.
The boys came to the zoo for work; one of them ran off and had an affair with a woman working at the zoo and the other one shot himself in the head; which, shortly after that happened, a few short weeks to be exact, the Tiger King found another young boy to marry.
The Tiger King found himself in jail after being set up by two of his shiesty cohorts for plotting a murder for hire against another crazy lady.
This crazy woman purports to be an animal rights activist but, to me, I think she is just as bat shit crazy as the lot of them!
One day her millionaire husband disappeared and was never heard from again. This crazy lady is rumoured to have fed her husband to the tigers on her supposed rescue.
Anyway, she had started a crusade against a bunch of big cat owners, specifically, Tiger King, who took umbrage to her agenda and from then it was one insult after another after another between both of them.
He came at her with everything he had but she took him to court and won. He was ordered to pay her money and that’s when all hell broke loose.
It was comedic, the stupid things he came up with to antagonize her.
The show was a sight because there was not one normal person in the whole thing; they were all crazy, and not in a good way!
Was this show anything I needed to be aware of?
No, I don’t think so!
However, it is so shocking, the number of people living in obscure places around the US and consistently break the laws with reckless abandon without fear of reproach.
Should you watch it, I’d say, watch it, what else is there to do when Coro won’t let us be great!
