So I went for a long drive today, why not, the Sun was out but just right, the wind was out but just right too! There was a slight scent of rain in the air, the day was quite beautiful; I enjoyed my excursion.
I love music but I tend to appreciate music the most when I am in my car.
As I listened to my Regina Spektor CD, there's something about her voice, the jazzy classical folksy bluesy sound she gurgles out that sets me into an introspective state.
As I allowed the wind to waft through my windows and gently kiss my face, I immediately thought of you, Daddy and Mummy. My loving parents whom I love so much.
Today, I thought about how I very much want to make you ecstatically happy, to be the source of unending joy to you. I thought about the times I was quite naughty and wished I could go back in time and make those days better days but then I realised that as bad as those days were, they have made me understand you a lot better, I am sorry I was bad and I thank God for blessing me with you, everyday.
I pray to God that you live long happy healthy lives because I want you to be Great-Grand parents.
My thoughts were immediately filled with pictures of both of you smiling and laughing so happily, so I said a quick prayer and asked God to make me the source of your Joy.
I love you Daddy and Mummy and I am grateful to God for blessing me with you the most wonderful parents any child could wish for.

Nkem, I hear you that's why I asked why, mine aren't, not now anyway. I have a greater understanding and respect for them as an adult but I am glad you love yours too, cheers:)
